The North Carolina Society of Clinical Hypnosis provides this service to help you locate qualified healthcare and mental health professionals in your area who may be qualified to help you with clinical hypnosis. You can find information on office locations, professional qualifications held and areas of specialty.

It is advised that you call and interview the clinician(s) over the phone to determine if that person might be a good match for you. Be sure to ask about fees for the services that will be provided when you interview the therapist or healthcare professional you have chosen. Also, you can ask for times that are convenient for you. If the person you choose cannot assist you, it is perfectly acceptable to ask them for a recommended referral. When you meet with the clinician you have chosen, an interactive process will begin, to identify and define the problem you are experiencing and the situation in which it arises. The clinician will provide a confidential, safe environment for you to work through the issues necessary to solve the problem.
